Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tiny Design & Co. Pty Ltd, trading as Shoot The Frame (“Shoot The Frame”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use the Shoot The Frame Shop at shop.shoottheframe.com. It works alongside the privacy policy for our main website at shoottheframe.com/privacy. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, where they apply, the EU and UK GDPR.

What we collect

  • Your name, email address, billing address and delivery address
  • Your phone number, if you give it
  • What you ordered, what you paid and any note you add to your order
  • Technical information needed to run the shop, such as your cart and login session

We do not see or store your full card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.

How we use it

  • To take payment, print and deliver your order, and send you order and shipping emails
  • To deal with questions, faults, refunds and fraud prevention
  • To keep the records the law requires, such as tax records

Buying a book does not sign you up to marketing emails.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs to do its job:

  • Stripe processes your payment.
  • Bookvault (Printondemand-worldwide, United Kingdom) and its printers and couriers receive your name, delivery address and order details so your book can be printed and delivered. Your email or phone number may also be passed to the courier for delivery updates.
  • Google Workspace sends our emails.
  • GoDaddy hosts the shop and its database.

We never sell your personal information.

Overseas transfers

Our service providers are based in, or may store information in, countries outside Australia, including the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union. Your information is shared with them only to provide the services above.

Cookies

The shop uses essential cookies to keep your cart and checkout working and to keep you logged in. Stripe uses cookies at checkout to help prevent fraud. The shop does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal purposes (in Australia, generally at least 5 years), then delete them. If you create an account, you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection, subject to legal conditions.

To make a request or a complaint, email admin@shoottheframe.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or your local EU data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
